IT Asset Specialist (UAE National)

The company, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, is seeking an IT Asset Specialist in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the organization's IT hardware infrastructure. The IT Asset Specialist will ensure that end-user devices and hardware systems operate efficiently while minimizing downtime.

This is an expert-level position requiring on-site, full-time commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware installation & maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; replace faulty components.
• Technical support: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, install Windows and drivers, and support meeting-room equipment.
• Asset management: Maintain hardware inventory and update asset records; track warranties, repairs, procurement, and disposal.
• Documentation & reporting: Maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, update SOPs, and ensure policy compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ and ITIL Foundation.
• Expert-level, hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, and end-user device hardware.
• Strong working knowledge of the Windows operating system.
• Experience administering Microsoft environments and Active Directory.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with IT Asset Management and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic and English.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• UAE Nationals (UAEN) are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Valid UAE driving license.
