Store Manager (Luxury Retail) Abu Dhabi

We are partnering with one of the world's most prestigious luxury brands to appoint an exceptional Store Manager for its boutique in Abu Dhabi.

The Store Manager will take full ownership of the boutique, ensuring every aspect of the operation reflects the brand's uncompromising standards of excellence. From developing a high-performing team and cultivating long-term client relationships to driving commercial success and operational efficiency, this role demands a leader who thrives in a luxury environment and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities

Boutique Leadership

• Take overall responsibility for the daily management and performance of the boutique.
• Lead by example, consistently demonstrating the behaviours and standards expected of the brand.
• Create an inspiring, collaborative and high-performance culture that motivates the team to achieve exceptional results.
• Foster an environment built on accountability, respect, professionalism and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the boutique consistently reflects the highest standards of luxury presentation and operational excellence.

Sales & Commercial Performance

• Drive the achievement of all sales, profitability and KPI objectives.
• Analyse business performance, identify opportunities for growth and implement effective commercial strategies.
• Maximise sales opportunities through effective floor management, client engagement and team coaching.
• Monitor key business indicators and adapt action plans to achieve and exceed targets.
• Take ownership of boutique performance and continuously seek opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.

Client Experience & Clienteling

• Champion an exceptional client experience at every stage of the customer journey.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with VIP and high-value clients.
• Develop clienteling initiatives that strengthen customer loyalty and maximise repeat business.
• Ensure every member of the team consistently delivers personalised, memorable luxury service.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while protecting the integrity and reputation of the brand.

People Leadership

• Recruit, develop and retain exceptional talent.
• Coach and mentor team members through regular feedback, performance reviews and individual development plans.
• Identify training needs and ensure continuous learning across the boutique.
• Inspire the team to exceed expectations while maintaining high levels of engagement and motivation.
• Promote collaboration, teamwork and open communication across all levels.

Operations

• Ensure the boutique operates efficiently while maintaining full compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control and loss prevention.
• Maintain accurate reporting, administration and operational documentation.
• Ensure visual merchandising and housekeeping standards consistently reflect the brand image.
• Partner with internal departments to support seamless business operations.

Marketing & Events

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver boutique events and client engagement activities.
• Support local initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and increase boutique traffic.
• Build relationships within the local luxury community to enhance the boutique's presence and commercial success.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a confident luxury retail leader with a proven ability to balance commercial performance with exceptional people management and client service.

They will demonstrate the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders and create an environment where both employees and clients enjoy an outstanding experience.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a luxury retail boutique.
• Previous luxury retail experience within the UAE is essential, with Abu Dhabi experience highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and commercial KPIs.
• Proven experience managing, coaching and developing high-performing retail teams.
• Strong clienteling experience with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with VIP clientele.
• Excellent commercial awareness and sound business judgement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with excellent planning and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
• Strong understanding of luxury customer expectations and premium service standards.
• Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
