Role Summary

We are looking for a bilingual (Arabic & English) Content Writer to join our Marketing & Communications team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented writer with an agency background who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment and can turn complex medical topics into clear, warm and trustworthy content.

You will create content that educates, reassures and engages people at a sensitive and deeply personal stage of their lives — always with empathy, accuracy and cultural nuance across both Arabic and English audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit and proofread high-quality content in both Arabic and English across web pages, blogs, social media, email campaigns, patient-education materials, brochures, video scripts and paid advertising.
• Adapt and localise content between Arabic and English through transcreation rather than literal translation — preserving tone, cultural sensitivity and medical accuracy in both languages.
• Translate complex fertility, IVF and reproductive-health topics into clear, empathetic, patient-friendly language.
• Develop content aligned with SEO best practice to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
• Collaborate with design, digital, social and clinical teams to deliver integrated campaigns on brief and on time.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone of voice across every channel and touchpoint, in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure that all content is medically accurate and compliant with UAE Department of Health and healthcare advertising regulations.
• Research industry trends, competitor content and patient questions to feed a proactive content pipeline.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously across brands, markets and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Translation, Arabic/English Literature or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional content-writing experience, including time at a creative, digital or marketing agency.
• Native or near-native fluency in both Arabic and English, with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills in both languages.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating bilingual writing and multi-channel campaign work.
• Proven ability to write for different formats, channels and audiences while adapting tone and register.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent storytelling with empathy and cultural sensitivity, especially around health and family topics.
• Solid understanding of SEO, content marketing and social-media best practice.
• Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly across multiple rounds.
• Familiarity with content-management systems (e.g. WordPress) and collaboration tools.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Prior healthcare experience — writing for healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, wellness or fertility brands is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the UAE / GCC healthcare and fertility landscape.
• Previous experience of hands-on content creation for Instagram/Reels, You Tube
• Familiarity with SEO content
• Thorough understanding of paid media and how copy performs across channels.
