Tech Lead - Wealth Management (m/f/d)

Role Overview We are seeking a technically strong and delivery-focused Technical Lead to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance technology platforms supporting Wealth Management, Trading, and Brokerage operations.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of capital markets systems with proven project management capability, driving cross-functional teams to deliver in a highly regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects across wealth management, trading, and brokerage platforms.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance across OMS, EMS, PMS, and RMS systems while managing project timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive architecture decisions, performance tuning, and system resilience initiatives across trading platforms.
• Ensure all solutions meet regulatory compliance, security controls, and audit readiness requirements.
• Collaborate with business, risk, operations, and engineering stakeholders to align technical delivery with business objectives.
• Mentor engineering teams and establish delivery best practices across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on project progress, escalating risks and issues proactively.
• Manage vendor and consultant relationships as part of the delivery ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience spanning technical delivery and project management in financial services technology.
• Strong domain knowledge of wealth management, trading, and brokerage workflows including order lifecycle and trade settlement.
• Hands-on understanding of FIX protocol, exchange APIs, and market data feeds.
• Technical proficiency across fullstack development (Java, .NET, Python), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Kafka, and event-driven architecture.
• Proven ability to manage low-latency, high-availability production environments.
• Experience working in regulated financial services environments.

Preferred Attributes

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience in UAE or GCC banking environments.
• Exposure to multi-asset class platforms and broker-neutral trading systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills.
