Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef specializing in authentic Italian and Neapolitan pizza to join our kitchen team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in dough fermentation, pizza preparation, baking techniques, and maintaining consistent food quality.

The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, following recipes and food safety standards, and contributing to an efficient kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Italian and Neapolitan pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare and manage pizza dough, including mixing, fermentation, proofing, stretching, and baking.
• Operate wood-fired and/or electric pizza ovens efficiently.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain proper mise en place for daily operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock requirements.
• Follow HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist in developing new pizza recipes and menu items.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of culinary experience with at least 3 years specializing in Italian or Neapolitan pizza.
• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, pizza-making techniques, and authentic Italian ingredients.
• Experience operating wood-fired and/or electric pizza ovens.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• HACCP or food safety certification is an advantage.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in authentic Italian restaurants or premium pizza concepts.
• Experience with artisan pizza production.
• Experience working in high-volume restaurant operations.
• UAE restaurant experience is preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
