Designer cum Estimator

We're Hiring: Designer cum Estimator – Aluminium Works

Location: Abu Dhabi (Mussafah)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Designer cum Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, designing aluminium systems, and developing accurate cost estimates for aluminium and façade projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical details for aluminium and façade works
• Analyze architectural and structural drawings, BOQs, and project specifications
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and quotations
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Assist in tender preparation and project pricing
• Revise drawings and estimates based on project requirements and client feedback
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Designer and/or Estimator in the aluminium or façade industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of other design software is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of aluminium systems, façade works, and material estimation
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
