Job Title: Junior Accountant – Gold Jewellery Industry

Salary: AED 2,000 – AED 4,000 per month

Century Gold are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience in the gold jewellery industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of jewellery accounting processes, inventory reconciliation, and day-to-day financial operation.

Junior Accountant – Daily Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile cash collections, POS settlements, bank deposits, and card transactions.
• Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Update customer and supplier ledger entries.
• Record inventory / gold stock movements and assist in daily stock reconciliation.
• Prepare daily sales, collection, and cash reports.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and VAT-related documents.
• Report any cash, stock, or accounting discrepancies to the Senior Accountant / Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in the gold jewellery industry is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
