Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations for the company. This includes procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, warehousing, supplier management, and distribution.
The role ensures timely availability of raw materials and finished products while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
- Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables while ensuring quality and cost competitiveness.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Plan and monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and project teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and stock control processes.
- Manage logistics, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and service levels.
- Develop demand forecasting and production planning in coordination with sales and operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Analyze supply chain performance and prepare reports on procurement, inventory, logistics, and costs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost reduction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Manage ERP/MRP systems to ensure accurate inventory and procurement data.
- Support business continuity through effective risk management and contingency planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, or APICS are an advantage.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the GCC/UAE market is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
