Estimator / Project Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator & Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines the technical accuracy of cost estimation with the hands-on coordination of project execution. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are accurately priced, efficiently scheduled, and smoothly managed from tender stage through completion.

Key Responsibilities Estimation Duties

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
• Quantify materials, labor, and subcontractor requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options.
• Assist in tender submissions and clarify technical queries with clients or consultants.

Project Coordination Duties

• Support project planning, scheduling, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate between design, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Track project progress, budgets, and variations.
• Prepare and update project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure all works are completed to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management.
• 1–2 years of experience in estimation and project coordination, preferably in interior fit-out or joinery works.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy, or similar).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
