Junior Accounts & Operations Assistant (Ajman, UAE)

Salary: AED 4,500 per month (Company visa provided)

Costalina Ship Management FZC is looking for a Junior Accounts & Operations Assistant to join our office in Ajman.

This is not a pure accounting role. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, computer literate, and comfortable handling a large amount of daily data entry and administrative work while also assisting our Accounts Department.

Daily Responsibilities

• Maintain daily vessel noon report Excel files.
• Update daily voyage reports in Microsoft Word.
• Update and organise crew document folders.
• Maintain vessel delivery note records.
• Prepare weekly bunker update reports.
• Monitor vessel requisition tracking sheets.
• Update audit tracking records.
• Track incoming supplier invoices received by email.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding invoices for entry into Zoho Books and vessel Statements of Account (SOA).
• Assist with accounting data entry in Zoho Books after training.
• General administrative and office support as required.

Requirements

• Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
• Able to write professional emails and communicate clearly.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to learn accounting procedures and Zoho Books.
• Previous accounting, administration or data entry experience is an advantage.
• Must currently reside in Ajman or within a short commuting distance.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
