Production Planning & Inventory Control Executive (Fragrance Manufacturing)

Job Summary

We are looking for PPIC Executive (Production Planning & Inventory Control) at our fragrance manufacturing facility in Sharjah who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure the efficient manufacturing of fragrance products in accordance with the Production Master Plan.

The role ensures the timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production resources while maintaining optimum inventory levels. The PPIC Executive coordinates closely with the Production, Laboratory, Quality Control (QC), Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted production, on-time order fulfillment, and effective inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and production capacity.
• Execute production activities in accordance with the approved Production Master Plan.
• Coordinate with the Production team to ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved without delays.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required to accommodate priority orders or operational changes.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
• Coordinate with the Laboratory to ensure timely availability of approved fragrance formulations and raw materials required for production.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
• Generate material requirements based on production plans and coordinate with Procurement for timely replenishment.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and stock shortages.
• Support inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.
• Monitor production batches throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Track production performance against planned targets and identify deviations.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Ensure production orders are completed accurately and closed in the ERP system.
• Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure timely testing and release of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Coordinate with QA/QC regarding batch approvals and production release.
• Ensure only approved materials are issued for manufacturing.
• Liaise with Warehouse personnel regarding material availability and issuance.
• Coordinate with Procurement to expedite urgent material requirements.
• Work closely with Logistics to ensure finished goods are dispatched according to delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize production disruptions due to equipment downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in Production Planning, Supply Chain, APICS, or equivalent is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning and Inventory Control within a fragrance, perfume, cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar).
• Experience in inventory management and production scheduling.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per hour
