Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Robotics Technical Architecture Engineer to design the overall architecture of complex robotic systems.

The candidate will translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions covering robotics software, embedded systems, AI, sensors, communication, cloud or edge infrastructure, and system integration.

This role requires someone who can define the complete solution, guide engineering teams, make key technical decisions, and ensure that all system components work together reliably.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for autonomous robots, robotic arms, drones, and other robotic platforms.
• Define system components, interfaces, data flows, communication protocols, and integration requirements.
• Select suitable sensors, processors, controllers, software frameworks, and computing platforms.
• Develop architectures using ROS 2, edge computing, embedded systems, cloud services, and AI components.
• Define software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, and deployment architecture.
• Create system architecture diagrams, interface control documents, technical specifications, and design standards.
• Lead technical design reviews and support engineering teams during implementation.
• Evaluate technical risks, system performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ensure compatibility between robotics software, embedded controllers, sensors, AI models, and external systems.
• Support troubleshooting of complex system-level integration issues.
• Work with project, mechanical, electrical, software, AI, and robotics teams.
• Validate that the implemented solution follows the approved architecture and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in robotics or complex system integration.
• Strong knowledge of ROS 2, Python, C++, Linux, and embedded systems.
• Experience with autonomous mobile robots, robotic arms, drones, or industrial robotics.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, APIs, communication protocols, and networking.
• Knowledge of sensors, motor controllers, microcontrollers, industrial computers, and edge computing platforms.
• Experience with SLAM, navigation, perception, control systems, and sensor fusion.
• Ability to convert operational requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Strong documentation, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary engineering teams and make practical technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, Isaac ROS, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud robotics, or fleet management systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, functional safety, redundancy, and fail-safe system design.
• Experience with system engineering methods, requirements management, verification, and validation.
• Experience deploying robotic solutions in industrial or customer environments.
