AI Tools Associate

Tech Pipeline helps operations teams fix the broken middle of their business processes by focusing on technical realities instead of abstract slide decks. We are currently working with a major regional investment group to overhaul their internal workflows and reduce operational friction.

As we help this partner bridge the gap between their existing tech stack and their daily tasks, we need an AI Tools Associate to support the practical implementation of these systems in a fully remote capacity.

About the role

The AI Tools Associate helps our team manage the utilities that route data and automate routine tasks for our clients. Because we value ground truth, this role involves looking at actual logs and configuration settings to understand why a process might be failing. You will support the team in maintaining the tools our partner uses for document processing and data reconciliation.

Instead of high level strategy, you will focus on the specific routing rules and prompt configurations that keep operations running smoothly. This role is a permanent, full-time position suitable for someone at the start of their career who enjoys untangling messy systems and seeing immediate results.

What you will be doing

• Reviewing daily logs from processing tools to identify where data routing has failed or stalled.
• Updating configuration files and prompt templates based on specific feedback from the investment group operations team.
• Monitoring the output of automated reporting scripts to ensure the numbers match the source of truth.
• Testing new routing rules in a staging environment before they go live to finance teams.
• Creating clear, step by step documentation for client staff so they can manage the tools independently.
• Identifying recurring bottlenecks in the data pipeline and suggesting specific adjustments to fix them.
• Maintaining a log of all configuration changes to ensure a clear audit trail for the partner.
• Assisting with the reconciliation of manual records against tool outputs during the first month of live operation.

What we need from you

• Basic familiarity with AI interfaces and an understanding of how to write clear, logical instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple technical tasks at once.
• A methodical approach to troubleshooting where you prefer finding the specific error in a log over guessing the cause.
• Clear, direct communication skills for writing updates and technical documentation.
• Comfort working in a fully remote setting where most communication is text based and asynchronous.
• Willingness to learn how to read basic system logs and update configuration settings.
• Ability to follow complex instructions exactly and provide precise feedback on results.
