IT PMO - Medical KSA

Cielo Talent is working with an established client in the healthcare and hospital network space, going through an expansion across the Middle East.

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Main Purpose

The IT PMO – Medical is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT projects related to the hospital’s medical activities. The role ensures the successful execution of projects in collaboration with clinical and IT teams while guaranteeing quality, timelines, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects related to medical operations and clinical activities.
• Ensure project governance in accordance with PMO standards and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Leadership, Nursing, Quality, and Clinical teams.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors.
• Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and performance indicators.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
• Prepare project reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
• Support change management initiatives and end-user training.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-PMO certification is highly desirable.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• Mandatory experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Proven experience in projects related to:
• Medical operations
• Nursing services
• Quality management
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
• Clinical applications

Skills

Technical Skills

• Project management expertise.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with PMO tools.
• Strong understanding of Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Experience with InterSystems TrackCare and SAP S/4HANA is required.
