Role Description The Bakery and Pastry Head Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for overseeing all bakery and pastry production. This role manages daily operations in the bakery kitchen, including planning menus, developing new products, and ensuring consistent quality of bread, cookies, pastries, and related items.

The Head Chef supervises and trains kitchen staff, assigns tasks, and monitors adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. The role includes ordering and managing ingredients, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all food preparation follows hygiene, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The Head Chef collaborates with management on product costing, seasonal offerings, and production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.

Qualifications

• Strong practical expertise in bakery operations, including Bakery management, Baking techniques, and Bread production.
• Proficiency in Food Preparation with a focus on cookies, pastries, and other baked goods, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
• Experience leading a bakery or pastry team, including staff training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, and safe equipment use, with commitment to compliance.
• Ability to design and refine recipes, develop new products, and maintain accurate documentation of formulations.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume production and meet deadlines.
• Relevant culinary or pastry certification or diploma; prior experience as a Head Chef or Senior Pastry Chef is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management.
