Logistics and Procurement Manager

Job Summary

Develop and drive the Regional Projects/ Site Sourcing plans per Annual Operation Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have project responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost for your site, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination.

You will manage Supplier Performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3rd party supply base
• Support Sales/estimation team by brining cost effective alternate vendors to increase winnability
• Conduct negotiation / e-auction to drive cost down both at Pre and Post award stage
• Work with highest payement term to support WC reduction as per AOP
• Implement subcon agreement
• Carry out system audits against the requirements of as per corporate audit guidelines
• Provide communication (and training if necessary) of the Supply chain to the Business
• Monitor Supply chain KPIs for the country and deliver as per AOP targets

• Support Business for Sourcing scope needs for Projects (Pursuit and Execute) or Site
• Prepare Sourcing Plans for Project or site applying Sole source elimination, e sourcing
• Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes
• Work with Internal Sourcing, business and other stakeholders for Procure to Payment process

You Must Have

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• Extensive proven related industry experience
• Highly proficiency in all of the key areas of supply chain management preferably from similar industry with Project environment in the Kuwait market
