We work with property developers, brokerages, interior design firms and brands across the UAE and GCC to build strong brands and deliver marketing that drives measurable growth.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive with previous marketing experience to grow Steleo's client portfolio and manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting and outreach to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.

The ideal candidate understands how marketing supports business growth and has a natural ability to understand social media concepts, content opportunities, audience needs, and current digital trends. Knowledge of branding and brand strategy is a strong advantage.

You will work closely with the Agency Lead, strategy team, and creative team to understand prospective clients' challenges and present relevant, commercially focused solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Development and Pipeline Management Identify and approach potential clients across real estate, luxury goods, and related sectors in the UAE and GCC. Build a consistent pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, events, and strategic partnerships.
• Research prospects and decision-makers to create relevant, personalised outreach.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and discovery through to proposal, negotiation, and signed contract.
• Meet agreed new-business, revenue, and activity targets.
• Client Discovery and Solution Development Lead discovery meetings to understand each prospect's business goals, marketing challenges, target audience, and growth priorities.
• Use your marketing experience to identify opportunities across social media, content, paid advertising, website, creative, and brand strategy.
• Collaborate with internal strategy and creative teams to prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and scopes of work.
• Clearly explain Steleo's services and connect marketing recommendations to practical commercial outcomes.
• Confidently present, negotiate, handle objections, and close retainer-based and project-based agreements.
• Marketing and Social Media Understanding Demonstrate a strong working understanding of marketing principles and the role of digital channels in supporting business growth.
• Understand key social media concepts, including audiences, platforms, content formats, engagement, campaigns, and performance indicators.
• Follow relevant marketing, social media, real estate, and luxury-sector trends to support informed client conversations.
• Recognise when a prospect's challenge requires a broader marketing or branding solution and involve the appropriate internal specialists.
• Relationship and Commercial Management Build trusted relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and industry contacts.
• Nurture long-term opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up with prospects who are not yet ready to proceed.
• Keep the CRM accurate and up to date with contact details, notes, pipeline stages, values, and next actions.
• Provide regular pipeline reports and market feedback to the Agency Lead.
• Support Steleo's go-to-market activities and contribute insights from prospective clients and the wider market.
• ESSENTIAL

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in business development, sales, account growth, or a related commercial role.
• Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, social media, or a creative agency environment is required.
• A good understanding of social media concepts and the ability to discuss them confidently with prospective clients.
• Experience generating new business through proactive outreach, including cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Ability to manage the complete sales process from prospecting to signed agreement.
• Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English, Arabic with be advantageous Commercial awareness, strong organisation, and disciplined follow-up. Self-motivated, resilient, target-driven, and comfortable working with a high degree of ownership.
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC market.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of branding, brand strategy, or creative services. Experience selling marketing or agency services on a retainer or project basis. An existing network across UAE real estate, property development, brokerages, interior design, construction, or luxury goods. Familiarity with Dubai's real estate market, off-plan launches, and investor audiences. Experience using CRM and sales pipeline tools.

Arabic or an additional business language.
