This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll work alongside experienced medical writers, client services professionals and medical strategists to develop engaging, scientifically rigorous content across a wide range of therapy areas.

The Role

As a Medical Writer, you'll transform complex scientific data into clear, compelling content tailored to healthcare professionals, patients and other key stakeholders. You'll contribute to a variety of medical affairs, publications and educational initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest scientific and editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write and edit scientifically accurate, evidence-based content for a broad range of medical communications projects.
• Develop materials including publications, congress abstracts and posters, advisory board content, slide decks, training materials, meeting reports, newsletters, digital content and educational resources.
• Interpret clinical data, literature and treatment guidelines to create clear, engaging communications for different audiences.
• Ensure all deliverables are fully referenced, compliant with client and industry standards, and aligned with project objectives.
• Collaborate with account managers, medical strategists and clients throughout project delivery.
• Build expertise across multiple therapy areas, keeping up to date with emerging clinical data and competitive landscapes.
• Participate in internal and external meetings, contributing scientific insight and supporting client discussions where required.

About You

MSc, PharmD or PhD in a life sciences discipline (or equivalent scientific background).

Previous experience as a Medical Writer within a medical communications agency, healthcare communications consultancy or pharmaceutical company.

Excellent scientific writing, editing and literature research skills.

Strong understanding of clinical research, medical terminology and evidence-based medicine.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Confident communicator who enjoys working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous but not essential.
