Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive audits within the hospital, covering billing, accounts, and non-financial areas to ensure compliance with policies. Responsible for data accuracy and collaborating with teams to ensure policy adherence.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage KRONOS timecards in collaboration with department timekeepers.
• Accurately process biweekly payrolls in line with hospital policies and regulations.
• Reconcile and audit post-payroll reports, handle voluntary deductions, tax forms, and coordinate with HR on payroll system maintenance.
• Manage documentation for direct deposits, garnishments, and other financial obligations.
• Provide employee support for payroll-related inquiries.
• Understand payroll systems and processes; experience with systems like Infor/Lawson and KRONOS is beneficial.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with UKG.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
