Inventory and Procurement Manager

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Inventory and Procurement Manager to manage inventory, purchasing, and material flow in support of production schedules and customer deliveries.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating purchase orders, tracking supplier performance, and working cross-functionally with Production, Accounting, and the factory to ensure materials are available when needed.

Responsibilities

• Track inventory levels and material movements in Excel and/or ERP systems.
• Forecast inventory usage and support purchasing strategies.
• Lead quarterly physical inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Work with Accounting to support inventory valuation and PO review and vendor invoices.
• Create, track, and follow up on purchase orders through delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and order status.
• Communicate material timing with the factory and Production Manager.
• Monitor supply risks and help prevent delays to production.
• Support shipping of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Recommend process improvements to ERP and inventory workflows.
• Work with R&D to move items from development to standard sku
• Ensuring pricing in ERP system is current

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory, procurement, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Work will primarily be conducted in our Manhattan office

Pay: $64,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
