Physician Coding Training and Education (CPC)

Vistec Partners is a managed services organization for healthcare providers. Services include consulting, technology, revenue cycle management and value-based programs. Our mission is to empower healthcare providers to provide the best patient care.

The goal of this position is to provide training and education to physicians, NPs and PAs with the purpose of achieving the highest standards in coding quality and proper documentation by applying coding guidelines.

Certified Coder Responsibilities

• Provider coding and documentation training and education.
• Serve as subject matter expert on physician coding for providers, coders, and staff.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of coding policies and procedures.
• Contribute to audit protocols and conduct audits regularly.
• Provide training, education and reference materials to coders and physicians.
• Prepare monthly reports documenting audit findings, action plan and results.
• Monitor and remain up to date on healthcare industry developments, payer policies, and regulatory changes, applying insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder, Current Certification status.
• Min 3 years of experience.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including AI tools.
• Ability to communicate with physicians, managers, directors and staff.

This is a full-time position, in person position.
