Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Location: San Francisco, California – On-site in a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with project teams, clients, and industry partners.

Job Description

• Support commercial construction projects from planning through project closeout.
• Coordinate vendors, project schedules, meetings, and project documentation.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed meeting notes, and distribute weekly project updates.
• Track invoices, submittals, RFIs, certificates of insurance, and FF&E orders.
• Assist with move management, material procurement, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain organized digital project files and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Conduct site visits and provide project support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Learn construction management best practices while contributing to successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction Assistant Project Manager or project coordination experience.
• Experience supporting commercial tenant improvement, workplace, capital improvement, or ground-up construction projects.
• Ability to review construction drawings and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Dropbox, and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
