Construction Manager

job summary

Construction Manager opportunity with a client located at a federal facility in the Northern San Francisco, CA area. This is a long-term contract position with the potential for extension. In this role, you will assist the Project Lead in managing the installation and completion of energy saving improvements at a federal facility.

Local candidates are preferred, but per diem may be considered for highly qualified and eligible candidates.

responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Assist the PM in scheduling and leading pre-construction, subcontractor, and owner meetings to maintain strict project schedules and order necessary inspections.
• Safety and Quality Compliance: Monitor subcontractor activity across multiple sites to ensure high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Daily Issue Resolution: Partner directly with customers and subcontractors on-site every day to quickly troubleshoot and resolve unforeseen technical or logistical issues.
• Reporting and Documentation: Coordinate the timely collection of sign-off sheets while writing and compiling detailed daily progress reports for project leadership.
