Construction Superintendent I - Water Division - Bay Area, CA

Overview

We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent for our Water Division located in the Bay Area, CA.

Preferred Water Project Experience: Experience supporting the design, construction, commissioning, and startup of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including advanced water and wastewater treatment facilities, recycled water systems, treatment plant expansions, pump stations, storage reservoirs, force mains, gravity sewer systems, large-diameter water transmission and distribution pipelines, and underground utility networks.

Projects may include municipal, industrial, or public utility infrastructure requiring regulatory compliance, permitting, quality control, testing and commissioning, and coordination with owners, public agencies, utility providers, and multidisciplinary project teams to successfully deliver critical water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of field operations
• Create and manage project schedule
• Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications
• Establishing budgets and controlling cost
• Identify the causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances
• Identify project risk, and work to mitigate it
• Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor
• Conduct systematic quality control inspections
• Follows company safety program, laws, and OSHA operating standards
• Manages jobsite cleanliness
• Prepares daily time cards for personnel under supervision
• Prepares daily logs

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 6+ years of experience
• Basic computer skills are preferred
• Specific roles may require relocation
• Salary $129K - $191K
