Job Description

We're looking for a creative and organized Part-Time Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence from content creation through community engagement.

You'll be responsible for planning, creating, editing, publishing, and managing content across our social media platforms. This role includes on-site content creation at our restaurant, capturing our products, team, behind-the-scenes moments, and customer experience to tell the Crepe Nation Express story.

You'll also manage our content calendar, engage with our online community, and help grow our audience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create photo and video content on-site at the restaurant
• Plan and maintain a content calendar
• Edit short-form videos and social media content
• Write engaging captions aligned with our brand voice
• Publish and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms
• Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and community engagement
• Respond to followers and help build an active online community
• Stay current with social media trends and recommend new content ideas
• Track content performance and provide regular reports and insights
• Work closely with the leadership team to support promotions, product launches, and campaigns

Requirements

• Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand
• Strong photography and mobile videography skills
• Experience editing short-form video using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in Old Town, Chicago for content creation sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with restaurant, café, hospitality, or food brands
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Portfolio showcasing previous social media or content creation work
