Northwestern OB-GYN Consultants (NOGC) is a well-established private OB-GYN practice dedicated to providing exceptional women's healthcare. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Medical Biller/Coder who thrives in a fast-paced medical office and takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and delivering outstanding results.

Please Note: Applicants must have successfully completed all required coding certification coursework and have passed the CPC (or equivalent) certification exam before applying. Candidates who are currently enrolled in certification courses or awaiting exam results will not be considered.

What You'll Do

As our Medical Biller/Coder, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate coding, timely reimbursements, and efficient revenue cycle management by:

• Accurately assigning CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Managing OB global billing, deliveries, surgical procedures, and gynecologic services
• Coding and billing ultrasound services, including Level I, Level II, Doppler studies, and related imaging
• Submitting electronic claims and resolving claim edits, denials, and rejections
• Posting insurance and patient payments accurately
• Monitoring and following up on outstanding accounts receivable
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff regarding documentation and coding clarification
• Ensuring compliance with payer guidelines, coding regulations, and HIPAA requirements

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is organized, proactive, and committed to excellence.

Required Qualifications

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or equivalent coding certification REQUIRED
• Certification coursework must be completed and certification exam successfully passed prior to applying
• Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience
• Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Epic EMR/billing systems
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous OB/GYN billing and coding experience
• Knowledge of OB global billing and women's health reimbursement guidelines
