Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and give correct change while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed to support overall café operations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while upholding high standards of food safety and beverage quality.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; barista experience is a strong plus but not necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to handle retail sales transactions accurately using retail math skills.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards to ensure safe preparation and serving practices.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment for guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and managing register operations confidently.
• Experience in beverage service or drink preparation that highlights your ability to craft quality coffee beverages with precision.
