Position Overview

Lead Smilegate's North America performance marketing and paid media strategy for upcoming AAA titles, covering GTM media planning, agency leadership, attribution, experimentation, and campaign analytics.

Working closely with Smilegate's global publishing team, you will own acquisition performance, optimize media investment, and build scalable in-house performance marketing capabilities that drive measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Media & GTM Strategy

• Partner with the global publishing team to develop comprehensive North America paid media strategies across major digital channels (YouTube, Meta, SEM, Programmatic DSPs).
• Lead end-to-end agency management, including RFP processes, onboarding, creative briefing, and campaign execution leadership.
• Partner with creative agencies and internal creative teams to drive creative testing and optimization across paid media campaigns.
• Oversee media budget allocation, campaign pacing, and data-driven ROAS optimization to achieve core launch targets and business goals.
• Drive GTM campaign planning and oversee the Global Marketing Activities Calendar (GMAC) to ensure seamless alignment across major marketing beats.
• Establish campaign KPI frameworks, release cadences, and business planning models in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Attribution & Performance Analytics

• Establish and oversee full-funnel attribution tracking and analytics frameworks using platform solutions such as Gamesight, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or equivalent analytics platforms.
• Build scalable reporting dashboards and lead regular performance reviews to provide actionable insights for executive leadership and global teams.
• Develop scalable campaign measurement frameworks and decision-making models to strengthen long-term in-house performance marketing capabilities.
• Collaborate with platform teams to support storefront optimization and digital merchandising initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of performance marketing experience within the video game publishing industry, with proven experience supporting or leading AAA title launches.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing multi-channel paid media campaigns ($1M+ annual budgets preferred).
• Hands-on expertise in major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, programmatic DSPs) and game attribution tools.
• Experience managing full-funnel acquisition campaigns across PC and console ecosystems.
• Proven experience managing top-tier creative and media agencies, from briefing to performance evaluation.
• Strong track record of translating complex campaign data into strategic executive readouts and actionable optimization plans.
• Excellent business English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with global publishing organizations or Asian game publishers.
• Korean language proficiency is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $165,000 - $213,000 annually
