Citi Commercial Bank - CSG Senior Relationship Manager - SVP

Citi is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to join its Commercial Banking team, owning and deepening strategic client relationships across a sophisticated portfolio of subsidiary client. In this senior individual contributor role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the valued subsidiaries of Citi's Multinational clients, structuring tailored financial solutions and driving measurable business outcomes.

This is a high-impact position that places you at the intersection of client strategy, credit expertise, and cross-functional collaboration within Citi's global network.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen a portfolio of commercial subsidiary client relationships by proactively identifying needs, anticipating risks, and delivering solutions that create long-term value for clients.
• Advise clients on tailored banking and financial solutions by collaborating with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure complex, customized deals including cross-border transactions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through client networking, market intelligence sharing, and proactive portfolio expansion across products and services.
• Effectively manage complex networks of diverse stakeholders to deliver bespoke products and solutions to multinational clients.
• Lead the client onboarding and retention process in partnership with Case Management, ensuring all compliance and Know Your Client requirements are met to the highest standard.
• Administer the full credit relationship for each client, overseeing the end-to-end credit process and ensuring all decisions align with established policies and risk appetite.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's risk and conduct standards, applying sound judgment in all business decisions to protect client and firm interests.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10 or more years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or a closely related financial services discipline.
• Expert-level credit skills with the ability to structure complex and global credit transactions and guide others through the deal approval process.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Early Warning Detection techniques to identify and manage portfolio risk before it materializes.
• Deep knowledge of banking and investment products, with a consistent record of delivering sound financial advice and solutions to commercial clients.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and navigate complex internal and external stakeholder networks to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, consultative engagement, and the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and AI-enabled platforms, with an understanding of how technology enhances client engagement and operational efficiency.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, in addition to a Bachelor's or University degree.
• Cultural competence and direct experience working with cross-border stakeholders and navigating international business environments.
• Ability to rapidly interpret data insights and adapt client or portfolio strategies in response to shifting market conditions.
