Our brand is built on discretion, professionalism, market expertise, and exceptional client service. We are seeking an experienced Fractional Director of Brand & Marketing to serve as an extension of our executive leadership team and oversee the strategic direction and execution of our marketing initiatives.

This is not a traditional in-house marketing position. We are seeking an established independent marketing consultant or boutique agency with an existing business and a proven track record of supporting premium brands.

Position Overview

The Fractional Director of Brand & Marketing will serve as The Advisory’s strategic marketing partner, responsible for protecting, elevating, and consistently executing our brand across every client-facing touchpoint.

Working directly with executive leadership, this consultant will oversee marketing strategy, campaign planning, creative direction, vendor coordination, social media execution, and overall brand consistency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable marketing systems rather than simply creating individual pieces of content.

Primary Responsibilities

Brand Leadership

• Serve as steward of The Advisory brand and visual identity.
• Maintain consistency across all digital, print, advertising, and marketing collateral.
• Ensure every client-facing communication reflects the firm’s luxury positioning.

Marketing Strategy

• Develop quarterly and annual marketing initiatives.
• Build monthly campaign calendars.
• Coordinate listing launches and property marketing.
• Develop recruiting and brand-awareness campaigns.
• Recommend new marketing opportunities and initiatives.

Social Media Leadership

• Oversee Instagram strategy and execution.
• Oversee LinkedIn strategy and execution.
• Develop content pillars and publishing calendars.
• Coordinate photography, videography, copywriting, graphic design, and short-form video production.
• Monitor analytics and recommend ongoing improvements.

Creative & Vendor Management

• Coordinate photographers, videographers, designers, editors, copywriters, and outside creative partners.
• Manage project timelines and creative approvals.
• Ensure efficient execution across multiple simultaneous marketing initiatives.

Marketing Operations

• Coordinate with our Fractional Email Marketing Specialist to maintain consistency across all campaigns.
• Organize digital marketing assets and creative libraries.
• Improve workflows and marketing processes.
• Collaborate with leadership as new AI-powered marketing systems are introduced.

Executive Collaboration

• Present monthly marketing reports.
• Recommend improvements based on analytics and campaign performance.
• Meet regularly with executive leadership regarding upcoming initiatives and priorities.

Ideal Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading brand and marketing initiatives.
• Demonstrated success supporting luxury brands.
• Experience working with luxury residential real estate strongly preferred.
• Exceptional understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn growth strategies.
• Strong project management experience.
• Experience directing creative teams and outside vendors.
• Portfolio demonstrating elevated luxury branding.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp, Luxury Presence, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, or similar platforms.

Engagement Details

• Independent Contractor (1099)
• Fractional executive engagement
• Approximately 20–40 hours per month, depending on project volume.
• Remote with periodic virtual meetings and occasional in-person collaboration in the greater Los Angeles area.
