About Transol LogisticsTransol Logistics is an established UK logistics provider with a nationwide network of company-owned and franchise offices. As part of our international growth strategy, we are launching our Global Control Tower in Dubai.

This new operations hub will become a central support function for our UK business, providing specialist international logistics services to our UK offices and franchise network, while delivering operational support across our European time-critical division.

This is a unique opportunity to join the business from day one and help build what will become a 24-hour Global Control Tower, supporting customers and operations across multiple international transport modes.

The Role

We are initially looking to recruit two Global Freight Operations Executives to form the foundation of our Dubai Global Control Tower.

The successful candidates will support our UK operations across:

• Global Air Freight
• Global Sea Freight
• FCL & LCLEuropean Time-Critical Road Freight
• Emergency Courier Movements
• International Customs Processes
• Import & Export Documentation
• Customer Service & Operational Support
• General Administration & Business Support
• As part of a new and growing office, this will be a hands-on and varied position.
• In addition to freight and logistics responsibilities, successful candidates will be expected to undertake general administrative duties and any other reasonable administrative or operational tasks required by the company.

As the business grows, we will expand the team and introduce a dedicated night shift, allowing our Global Control Tower to provide 24-hour operational support to our UK offices and franchise network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage international air and sea freight shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Coordinate urgent European time-critical road freight movements.
• Arrange emergency courier shipments worldwide.
• Prepare and manage import and export documentation.
• Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents and transport partners.
• Monitor shipments and provide proactive customer updates.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with international customs procedures and documentation requirements.
• Support our UK offices and franchise network with operational enquiries.
• Complete general office administration, data entry, reporting and record keeping.
• Assist with other administrative and operational duties as reasonably required by the company.

Requirements

• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in international freight forwarding and be able to demonstrate experience in:
• Air Freight Operations
• Sea Freight Operations
• European Time-Critical Road Freight
• Emergency Courier Operations
• International Customs Procedures
• Import & Export Documentation
• You should also possess:
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer and administrative skills.
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support different areas of the business when required.A proactive attitude and desire to help build a growing international operation from the ground up.
• Working Hours
• Initially, the operation will run Monday to Saturday, with working hours to be confirmed.
• As the Global Control Tower expands, we intend to introduce a 24-hour operation across both day and night shifts.

AED 3,000 per month starting salary.
