THE FAMILY

Two working parents, two teenagers (in residence 50% of the time on a shared custody schedule), and an energetic toddler. An older family member is frequently present in the home and travels with the family-- someone who may be part of your daily world and deserves the same warmth and thoughtfulness you bring to everything else. Fun, multi-generational vibes!

The home is organized and tidy. Existing support includes two nannies and a housekeeper, and you will be replacing someone who has been in the role for over two years. You are a team player and handle the coordination, the planning, the logistics, and the systems that keep everything connected.

The family values discretion, kindness, and good judgment. They want someone who feels like a natural fit, not a standard hire.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Scheduling & Household Logistics

This family runs on a shared calendar and a lot of text messages. You'll improve that. Your job is to bring calm structure to a busy household-- coordinating childcare coverage, managing the nanny schedule, overseeing school transportation, and staying two steps ahead of what's coming next so the parents don't have to.

Food & Meals

Grocery shopping, pantry management, grab-and-go breakfasts and snacks, and simple family-friendly dinners two to three nights a week. The goal is simple: nobody is standing in the kitchen at 6pm wondering what's for dinner. You'll make that a non-issue.

Kid & School Support

School drop-off and pick-up for one teen for 2026-2027 school year only, occasional after-school transportation, day-to-day readiness support for the older children, as needed. You'll be a steady, appropriate presence for kids across age ranges and know how to engage with each of them well.

Errands & Household Operations

Dry cleaning, returns, deliveries, pharmacy runs, household supplies, vendor coordination, routine service scheduling. The behind-the-scenes work that keeps a household stocked and running smoothly.

Travel Support

Itinerary coordination, car service, reservations, and logistics for personal and work travel. The family spends several weeks each summer at a seasonal WA location and travels periodically throughout the year. This role does not require routine travel between properties.

WHAT THE RIGHT PERSON LOOKS LIKE

You are highly organized, but not in a rigid way. You thrive on making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You communicate clearly and proactively, flagging what’s coming before you’re asked, not after. You have a calm, steady presence that children, teenagers, household staff, and vendors all respond well to. You understand confidentiality without needing to be reminded of it.

You are solutions-oriented in the truest sense: when something comes up that nobody planned for, you handle it and loop in the right people, rather than creating more work for an already busy household.

You have a very good sense of humor and don't need constant direction. You ask good questions upfront, build a clear picture of what's needed, and then you execute. You are forthright and enjoy collaborating.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of full-time experience as a Personal Assistant and/or Household Manager
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Licensed driver with a clean record and reliable 4-door vehicle
• Valid U.S. passport
• Authorized to work in the United States
• NDA, background check, and strong professional references required

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

Full-time position with a guaranteed salary, performance bonuses, and a stipend for health coverage and mileage. The role is structured around a 45-hour week with natural flexibility (some weeks will be lighter depending on the custody schedule).

The family is open to discussing a schedule that works well for the right candidate. They are also open to farming out some of these tasks such as the cooking for a stellar candidate.
