The 5 Point Cafe is one of Seattle's most iconic restaurants. We're open 24 hours a day and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night food to everyone from industry veterans and night owls to tourists, musicians, nurses, and neighborhood regulars. We've been doing it for decades and we're not interested in becoming something we're not.

We're looking for a full-time Night Lead Cook who can lead from the line.

This isn't a clipboard position. You'll be cooking shoulder-to-shoulder with your team, training new cooks, keeping standards high, moving fast when the board fills up, and helping create a kitchen culture built on accountability, consistency, and pride.

We're looking for someone who: Has strong breakfast, lunch, and dinner experience. Can cook quickly without sacrificing quality. Has previous experience leading and training kitchen staff. Is dependable and shows up ready to work. Can stay calm and organized during high-volume service. Works well under pressure and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Takes ownership of their station and their team.

Is available to work nights and weekends. Wants a long-term home, not just another kitchen job.

What you'll do

• Lead and support the night kitchen team.
• Train cooks and help develop future leaders.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and speed of service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and kitchen standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both front and back of house.
• Help solve problems before they become problems.
• Set the pace and the tone for the shift.
