Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Present menus, recommend dishes and beverages, and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Toast POS
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and finesse
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, and proper storage to uphold health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service for all guests
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is required
• Demonstrated expertise with POS systems such as Toast
• Strong knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Experience with OpenTable, Resy, or similar reservation management platforms is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Proven ability in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Background in hospitality or customer service roles that emphasize guest relations and personalized service

Pay: $25.81 - $31.08 per hour
