Entry-level Dental office manager/ Front desk receptionist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional entry-level office manager or Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a newly setup clinic. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.

This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Duties

• Greeting Patients and Checking Patients in and out
• Answering telephone calls and emails, getting referral information
• Scheduling, rescheduling and confirming appointments
• Verifying insurance
• Entering coding
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services
• Presenting treatment plans
• Financial arrangements & collecting payments
• Managing claims
• At least 1 year of Dental Office experience/ Oral Surgery Office experience a bonus

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a medical or dental clinic setting.
• Familiarity with medical coding, insurance verification processes, and maintaining medical records.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Proficient in clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
