The Chief Operations Executive will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and operational success of the organization. You will collaborate closely with the executive team and operations staff to enhance systems, oversee company operations, and support our project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include providing a strategic perspective on the company's structure and performance, managing estimating, project management, construction, and safety initiatives. You will lead the charge in utilizing efficiency tools, standardizing processes, as well as supervising business development and client relations efforts.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous. A solid 10-15 years of experience in civil or heavy civil construction, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role, is essential.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong record in safety leadership, process optimization, and effective resource allocation.
You will need strategic insight, business development savvy, and excellent leadership qualities. Experience with HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob, along with expertise in technical project review, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, is a must. This hands-on role requires a commitment to talent development and an ability to align operational goals with the company’s strategic vision.
