Responsibilities

• Engage with daily incoming leads to identify prospective tenants’ needs and preferences
• Conduct property tours, showcasing apartment features and amenities with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Manage leasing documentation, including contracts, legal administrative paperwork, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Utilize Yardi, OneSite, and other property management software to update data entry, track leads, and maintain accurate records
• Negotiate lease terms and upsell additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and occupancy rates
• Stay informed on Section 8 programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and landlord-tenant law to ensure legal compliance
• Handle conflict management situations with tact and professionalism while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Coordinate property maintenance requests and communicate effectively with facilities management teams when necessary
• Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and tenant records in accordance with office procedures
• Foster positive relationships through exceptional phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administrative roles with a focus on customer service
• Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and Fair Housing regulations
• Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other property management tools
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with conflict management abilities to resolve issues efficiently
• Legal administrative experience related to lease agreements, contracts, and landlord-tenant law is highly desirable
• Excellent office experience including data entry, filing, and managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships
• Knowledge of property maintenance processes and facilities management practices is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms like Data Entry systems or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
