Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,280 - $1,422
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient coding
• Location: Boston, MA
• Work Arrangement: On-Site

• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract

IR Coder Job Requirements

• 3+ years of Interventional Radiology coding experience with in-depth knowledge of procedural coding
• Proficiency with Epic and 3M coding systems
• Strong understanding of medical coding accuracy, compliance, and billing integrity
• Preferred credentials: CPC, CIRCC, CCC, and/or CPMA
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment

Interventional Radiology Coder Responsibilities

• Accurately code Interventional Radiology procedures and outpatient services
• Validate specialized procedure coding to support compliant billing and reimbursement
• Maintain billing integrity by applying current coding guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, compliance, and clinical teams to clarify documentation and coding questions
• Support coding quality, productivity, and revenue cycle performance goals
