RN- Facility Staffing

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform Wellness checks on multiple residents in community.
• Develops a Plan of Care for all new clients and updates as needed.
• Communicates with care managers, caregivers, office staff, clients, family members and other medical professionals about client's needs and concerns.
• Consults with the Director of Nursing regarding the supervision of services.
• Provides training to the clients regarding their care, when requested.
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records and documentation in compliance with State and Federal laws.
• Performs client & caregiver evaluations every 30, 90 or 120 days as needed.
• Wound Care and medication management/ administration in a FACILITY SETTING
• Enjoys working with a warm and supportive team.

Qualifications

DC RN License

• Current and valid CPR / BLS Certification
• TB vaccination, Full COVID vaccination and MUST BE BOOSTED and proof of Hep B vaccination
• Willing to work in facility Setting- Helping multiple residents with wound care and medication administration
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a willingness to teach and mentor caregivers
• Comfortable with electronic records and MS Office Suite
