Clinical Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Avana Plastic Surgery in Dallas is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work directly under our surgeon, providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as needed (2–3 hours)

Position Overview

The NP will play a key role in the surgical process, managing patients throughout their pre-op and post-op journey while maintaining direct communication with the surgeon to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and medical clearances
• Perform post-operative follow-ups and wound assessments
• Monitor recovery progress and manage treatment plans
• Provide patient education and ensure compliance with post-op instructions
• Maintain direct communication with the surgeon regarding patient status
• Document all encounters accurately and timely

Requirements

• Active Texas NP license
• Experience in surgical, plastic surgery, or perioperative care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
• Board certified Nurse practitioner

Pay: $124,800.00 - $135,000.00 per year
