Hotel ZaZa is seeking an experienced and hands-on Task Force Housekeeping Manager to lead our Housekeeping team during a 12-week temporary assignment. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys stepping in to provide operational support, leadership, and stability during critical business periods.

As the Task Force Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring guestrooms and public areas consistently meet Hotel ZaZa's luxury standards. You'll partner closely with hotel leadership to drive guest satisfaction, coach and develop team members, maintain quality standards, and support overall departmental success.

This is a full-time, on-site position expected to last approximately 12 weeks, with the potential for future opportunities based on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Supervise, coach, and support housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, housepersons, and laundry associates.
• Ensure guestrooms and public spaces consistently meet Hotel ZaZa's luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Conduct room inspections and provide coaching to maintain quality expectations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor productivity, and departmental performance.
• Partner with the Front Office and Engineering teams to ensure timely room availability and resolution of maintenance concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate housekeeping supplies and linens are maintained.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure exceptional service recovery.
• Train team members on hotel standards, safety procedures, and operational best practices.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and HAZCOM standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a full-service or luxury hotel.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper, or Task Force leader preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Ability to quickly assess operations and implement improvements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
