Document Control Manager - MARTA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure compliance with the document management standard for the Program.
• Understanding and implementing the requirements pertaining to the maintenance of project record documents according to the project contract.
• Install, administer, and maintain the Document Management System for tracking, retrieving, updating and maintaining all program/project documents.
• Responsible for overseeing, providing guidance and instructions for document controls staff.
• Establish and maintain a Document Control System (including tracking logs).
• Maintain all contract documents – administrative documents, bid documents, daily reports, monthly, reports, test results, meetings, drawings, program sketches general correspondences, etc, as it relates to the program.
• Oversee the processing of all incoming and outgoing program documentation.
• Oversees the Document Management System for tracking, retrieving, updating, and maintaining all program/project documents.

• Develops policies and procedures for document controls for client and program participants.
• Responsible for overseeing maintenance of all contract documents – administrative documents, bid documents, daily reports, monthly, reports, test results, meetings, drawings, program sketches general correspondences, etc, as it relates to the program.
• Oversees the processing of all incoming and outgoing program documentation.
• Responsible for the program’s Document Control center.
• Performs work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Construction Management, Program Management and/or Construction industry.
• Must have experience directing employees.
• Must work efficiently while handling many tasks simultaneously.
• Must have relative experience in Program and Project Control Systems

Essential Equipment And Software Requirements

• Computer skills – MS office productivity suite includes Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Large format and small format (plotters, printers, scanners, etc.)
• Relational Databases – SharePoint is a plus
