The Opportunity

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Occasional after-hours availability for emergencies or business needs

What You'll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of the apartment community
• Lead, coach, and support the onsite leasing and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and company policies
• Manage occupancy, leasing activity, and resident retention initiatives
• Review resident files and oversee recertifications for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and achieve financial performance goals
• Build strong relationships with residents while resolving concerns professionally
• Coordinate vendors, capital projects, and property inspections
• Maintain the community's appearance and ensure high resident satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 years of on-site property management experience
• Experience in supervisory role and managing staff
• Financial experience, including writing and maintaining budgets
• Strong background in operations and turnaround situations
• Knowledge of OneSite Property Management software a plus, but not required
• Section 8 experience (affordable properties)
• Tax Credit experience (affordable properties)
• EIV experience (affordable properties)

Experience Required for Your Success

Qualifications

• Previous Property Manager experience in multifamily housing
• Affordable housing experience (HUD and/or LIHTC preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and property operations
• Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software

Preferred

• COS, TCS, CP3, or LIHTC certifications
• Experience managing larger apartment communities
• Experience supervising multiple onsite team members
