POSITION: Part-Time Algebra I Teacher (Middle Grades)

Genesis Innovation Academy is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Part-Time Algebra I Teacher to provide high-quality mathematics instruction for middle school students enrolled in Algebra I for high school credit. This position is ideal for an educator who believes that all students can achieve at high levels through rigorous instruction, strong relationships, and purposeful intervention.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) for Algebra I, prepare students for success on the Georgia Algebra I End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment, and foster mathematical thinking through problem solving, collaboration, and real-world application.
In Georgia, students who complete Algebra I in middle school earn high school credit and are required to take the Algebra I EOC assessment, which serves as the course final exam.
Specific Responsibilities
Genesis Innovation Academy consists of two Atlanta-based, statewide charter schools: one for girls and one for boys. Both are open to all Georgia families. We are committed to developing scholars into path-breaking innovators, using the Academy’s own E5 curriculum model, which combines core subjects with Engineering, Economics, Ethics, Expression, and Entrepreneurship.

Pay: $47,084.00 - $103,790.00 per year
