RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

Blu Cantina – [Camp Creek / East Atlanta Village]

Blu Cantina is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager who can successfully lead a high-energy dining and nightlife environment while maintaining strong restaurant operating standards.

The right candidate will understand how to create an exciting guest experience without sacrificing professionalism, service, cleanliness, food quality, cost control, or employee accountability. This position requires someone who is comfortable managing late-night operations, entertainment, high-volume bar service, security concerns, and a diverse team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead daily restaurant and bar operations
Maintain high standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality
Manage high-volume evening, weekend, and late-night shifts
Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and hold employees accountable
Build a professional workplace culture while maintaining an energetic guest atmosphere
Monitor labor costs, food and beverage costs, inventory, waste, and other operating expenses
Oversee cash handling, deposits, opening and closing procedures, and manager reporting
Maintain alcohol-service, health-department, food-safety, and company compliance standards
Coordinate DJs, entertainment, security, special events, and large parties when applicable
Respond professionally to guest concerns and resolve operational issues
Work closely with ownership to improve sales, profitability, employee performance, and the overall guest experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE

At least three years of restaurant management experience; general manager experience preferred
Experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge, nightlife, or entertainment-driven concept
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, scheduling, inventory, labor management, and cost controls
Proven ability to lead employees firmly, fairly, and professionally
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Toast or a comparable restaurant POS system is preferred
ServSafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain certification
Must meet all legal requirements for managing an alcohol-serving establishment

This is not a desk-management position. We are looking for a visible leader who is present on the floor, supports the team, protects restaurant standards, and understands how to balance an energetic nightlife environment with disciplined restaurant operations.

COMPENSATION

$60,000 annual salary plus a performance-based bonus structure. Bonus eligibility will be based on the restaurant’s financial performance, operational standards, and achievement of established management goals.
