What You'll Do

• Execute dishes with precision while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Work efficiently during high-volume dinner service without compromising consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
• Follow recipes, plating standards, and preparation techniques exactly.
• Assist with daily prep, station setup, and breakdown.
• Practice proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of high-volume line cook experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
• Japanese cuisine experience is strongly preferred (sushi, robata, yakitori, ramen, or modern Japanese concepts), but exceptional candidates from other fine dining backgrounds will be considered.
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining composure during busy service.
• Passion for hospitality and continuous learning.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
