Social Media Manager

Our higher education client is seeking a creative and community-focused Social Media Content Manager to support campus storytelling, short-form video production, and prospective student engagement. This role is ideal for a mid to senior level social media professional with experience in the public sector or higher education.

Schedule: Part-time, hourly. Approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This is mostly remote with the expectation to capture content onsite when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage communities across Meta, YouTube and LinkedIn DAILY
• Capture and produce photo and video content at campus events
• Create short-form video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn
• Manage content calendars and publish across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
• Monitor comments and messages and engage with prospective students
• Attend on-campus events, including occasional evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in social media or digital content creation
• Experience managing online communities
• Strong photography, videography, and editing skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom; After Effects preferred)
• Local to Denver and able to attend events
• Experience in higher education or public sector community management preferred
