We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional, and compassionate attitude.
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments while maintaining an accurate office calendar.
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits, and assist patients with billing and payment questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards.
• Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, faxing, and managing office correspondence.
• Assist with general office operations, including ordering supplies and supporting clinical staff with non-clinical tasks such as instrument sterilization when needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a positive and seamless experience from check-in to check-out.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar healthcare front office role required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Experience with dental practice management software; Curve Dental experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain calm in a busy environment.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding patient care.
