Entry-Level Dental Assistant

Geis Dentistry is a private practice newly transitioned from a retiring dentist. As the old team retires we are looking to fill the assistant role. Basic Job summary below.

Dental Assistant Job Summary

We are looking for a dental assistant/back office tech. We value our loyal patients so candidates must have genuine compassion and excellent people skills. We are looking for someone who will complement our relaxed and friendly office environment. As the assistant you will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and help the dentist during dental procedures.

Between patients, you will clean exam rooms, sterilize equipment and replenish supplies. When not working with patients, you will also assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones and scheduling appointments, as needed.

Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet, room and prepare patient for procedure
• Prepare the work area for procedures
• Take patient x-rays
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Take impressions
• Sterilize rooms, instruments and equipment
• Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory

Hours

M-T-W 7:45 AM-5:00PM

Th 9:30-4

Roughly 30-35 hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
