Position Overview

I am seeking a reliable, resourceful, and flexible Personal Travel Assistant to accompany me on business and investment travel, primarily to New York and Italy. This is not a traditional office assistant position. The ideal candidate will help manage the day-to-day logistics of travel so I can focus on evaluating real estate investments, attending networking events, and meeting with professionals.

The role requires someone who enjoys travel, is calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable adapting to changing plans.

Primary ResponsibilitiesTravel Support

• Assist with luggage during airports, train stations, hotels, and property visits.
• Help coordinate travel logistics and daily schedules.
• Monitor flight, train, or transportation details as needed.
• Run errands when necessary (picking up supplies, groceries, medications, dog food, etc.).
• Help organize accommodations and unpacking if needed.

Dog Care

• Care for my friendly small dog, Luna, while traveling.
• Walk, feed, and supervise my dog.
• Stay with my dog while I attend meetings, networking events, dinners, or social functions.
• Help transport dog supplies and ensure my dog's routine is maintained.

Personal Assistance

• Help keep daily activities organized.
• Assist with reservations, appointments, and scheduling.
• Accompany me to meetings or events when appropriate.
• Take notes or help organize information from property visits.
• Be available to help solve unexpected travel issues as they arise.

Real Estate & Business Support

• Accompany me while viewing investment properties.
• Help organize documents, brochures, and notes.
• Assist with simple administrative tasks.
• Coordinate directions, appointments, and meeting logistics.

Safety & Companionship

• Provide an additional level of safety while traveling, particularly internationally.
• Be a dependable travel companion during airports, public transportation, and unfamiliar locations.
• Help reduce the stress of managing travel alone by sharing logistical responsibilities.
• The position involves accompanying me during domestic and international travel to provide logistical support, an additional level of personal safety while traveling, and assistance with day-to-day travel responsibilities.

Ideal Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and discreet.
• Calm and solution-oriented.
• Comfortable with frequent travel.
• Physically able to assist with luggage and walking throughout the day.
• Animal lover, especially comfortable caring for small dogs.
• Valid passport (or ability to obtain one).
• Clean driving record is preferred.
• Previous experience as an executive assistant, travel assistant, concierge, nanny, or personal assistant is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Speaks conversational or fluent Italian.
• Experience traveling internationally.
• Familiarity with Italy or New York is a plus.
• Interest in real estate or investing is helpful but not required.

Compensation

• Competitive weekly compensation based on experience.
• Round-trip airfare provided for all work-related travel.
• Private lodging (your own room) provided during travel.
• All work-related transportation and accommodations are covered. Personal expenses such as meals, shopping, entertainment, and other incidental expenses are the responsibility of the assistant.
